The first of its kind in United States, Reed Society partnered with Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage and the Smithsonian National Museum of Asian Art to celebrate the global holiday of Milad an-Nabi, observed as a national holiday celebrated by million s of people around the world in over 40 countries.

Experience the sounds and sights of both past and current traditions of this Islamic holiday. Enjoy Indian, Moroccan, and American Sufi music ensembles, and learn from artists and authors about how they draw on their spiritual journey in their art.
